You can also work with OCHEEP! and ReNEW (County Programs)
The OCHEEP! program has officially provided more than 600 rebate applications to workshop attendees.  Rebate money is available on a first come, first served basis, and we are striving to keep our workshop attendees informed as to the rebate money availability status.

If you have had an energy rating performed and plan to submit a rebate application, either e-mail or call me immediately so that we can ensure your incentive funding is reserved for you.  We are still conducting workshops, and if you do not contact me with your intentions, or submit your application soon, you may not receive your rebate.

Here are some interesting OCHEEP! statistics as of February 9, 2011:

·     809 people have attended OCHEEP! workshops

·     605 eligible applications have been distributed

·     128 applications have been paid or are in process

·    39 workshops have been conducted, and more are being scheduled
270 Orange County residents have signed the ENERGY STAR pledge since OCHEEP! began in April, 2010.  If those homeowners follow through with their pledge, we will have the following results:

o   Eliminate 5.8 million pounds of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Orange County

o   Save $451,676 in power bills

o   Decrease power use by 3,090,790 kilowatt-hours

As always, if you have any questions or comments, please call me.
